Chaka update

Since our last minute wedding took so much of our attention, I haven't been keeping the blog updated with little Camilo's progress!  3 weeks ago I had an ultrasound to make sure that everything was all ok despite all the contractions I've been having. Well, everything IS A-OK, my fluid levels and cervix look good, and best yet, Camilo is looking great!

 His face is really starting to fill in and is head is STILL measuring big (poor me!), but the rest of him (they measure a bunch of different bones and organs) is all right on track.  You can really see the cleft now, but the ultrasound doctor told us that from this stage on, it's going to look worse than it actually is because he's run out of room and is all squished up inside. But the funny thing is, we're so used to the cleft now, we hardly even notice it anymore. It's just a non-issue for us.

My next and final ultrasound is in 2 more weeks. Camilo says bye for now! Keep you fingers crossed he cooks for at least another 4 weeks! This little guy is just too excited to get out!
